Abstract

The objective of this empirical investigation is to determine the degree to which home economics teachers in secondary schools in Delta State, Pakistan utilize online resources. The current study employed a survey research design. Out of the one hundred questionnaires that were delivered to high school home economics teachers across the state, eighty-eight were successfully returned by the schools. The replies were examined using Microsoft Excel and several Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences. The study findings suggest that a significant number of secondary schools do not have essential e-learning resources, which are necessary for effective teaching and learning. These resources are crucial for both teaching and acquiring knowledge. The study argues that while e-learning has the potential to improve educational practices, there is a lack of managerial support for these efforts in educational institutions. Based on the research findings, it is advisable for academic institutions and governments to provide significant support for modern e-learning systems and integrate e-learning into their entire curriculum. The conclusion was derived from the conducted inquiry.
